SIG-SCOPE – Sustainable, Community, Practice Exchange
Providing experience and resources to IT professionals in research and education.
The Special Interest Group on Sustainable, Community, Practice Exchange links like-minded professionals to exchange experiences and foster new ideas, providing a leading forum for the advancement of IT practices in the research and education field.
SIG-SCOPE formed from two networking groups that had been active in the GÉANT Project: Campus Best Practice and Green ICT. With more than 40 dedicated participants from a rage of organisations including national research and education networking organisations (NRENs) and campus IT staff, and in liaison with more than 50 national working groups, SIG-SCOPE already has 200+ best practice documents and a wide range of tested and proven IT sustainability tools and templates to share.
