SIG-ISM workshop on risk is now open for registration
Registration is open for a workshop focusing on risk, organised by SIG-ISM, the GÉANT Special Interest Group on Information Security Management. The event is being hosted by NORDUnet in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 22-23 February 2016. Register via EventR.
The agenda features presentations on risk management for cloud, computing and data services; and a risk assessment white paper. The second half-day will focus on establishing a risk register for national research and education networking (NREN) organisations. This open discussion will examine the risks that the NRENs face every day and seek a common understanding, as well as coming up with suggestions about how to deal with increased risks.
Because the workshop will include confidential information about specific organisation and their risks, participants will be required to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
